Moong Dal Kichadi Recipe

Ingredients for preparing Moong Dal Kichadi

  • Basmati Rice - 150 gram
  • Moong Dal(Cherupayar Parippu) - 100  gram
  • Onion: chopped - 1 cup
  • Dry Red Chillies - 8 nos.
  • Water -  4½ cup
  • Salt to taste - ½  tsp
  • Oil - 2 tbsp

Steps for preparing Moong Dal Kichadi

  1. Cook the rice and dal in boiling water.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add onion and red chillies, fry till golden brown.
  3. Add cooked rice, dal and salt into it.
  4. Mix it well and serve hot.
